Americans For Prosperity is having a town hall meeting on Friday afternoon, October 2, on the Capitol steps. Then they plan to go inside the Senate and House office buildings to visit Senators’ and Congressman’s offices. The goal is for these Senators to see a steady stream of grassroots activists taking our freedom message right into their offices after the town hall meeting on the Capitol steps. Question And Answer Session With Rep. Visclosky
Over 100 people came together at the St. John Township Community Center in Schererville on Thursday, September 3, 2009, to hear Rep. Peter Visclosky (D), IN District 1, speak and take questions on a variety of topics. The Lake County Republican Party hosted the meeting. It began around 6 p.m. and lasted a little over an hour.
